Post Hole Auger Service

Let us handle the digging for your posts.

Holes for fences and gates
Holes for signs and posts
Faster than hand digging
Digging post holes by hand is slow, heavy work-especially in tough soil. Cournaya’s Land Enhancement uses auger equipment to drill consistent holes for fence posts, signs, deck supports, and more so you can move straight into building.

When You Need Help with Post Holes

Most outdoor projects with posts start with a shovel, but clay, roots, and rocks can make digging miserable. Even if you get the holes done, inconsistent depths and spacing can cause problems when you go to set posts and line things up.

  • Long fence runs with many posts to set
  • Sign posts or structural posts that need precise depths
  • Dense or rocky soil that fights every shovelful
  • Limited time or energy to handle all the digging yourself

A powered auger service takes care of the hardest part so you can focus on building the fence, deck, or structure you had in mind.

How Our Post Hole Auger Service Works

We start by reviewing your layout, including post spacing, alignment, and target depths. Cournaya’s Land Enhancement then uses auger equipment to drill holes sized for your posts at the locations you mark. We work efficiently through tough ground while paying attention to utilities and obstacles.

  • Confirm layout, spacing, and depth requirements
  • Drill holes with an auger sized for your posts
  • Work through compacted or rocky soil more easily than hand tools
  • Leave excavated material nearby for backfilling posts
  • Coordinate timing so you can set posts soon after holes are drilled

The result is a set of clean, consistent holes that make the rest of your project go smoother.

Our Guarantee to You

We stand behind the work we do. Our guarantee is simple: we will show up when we say we will, do the work we agreed to, and walk the job with you before we leave. If something reasonable needs to be addressed related to the work we just completed, we will talk it through and make a plan to make it right.

Our Workmanship Warranty

Outdoor work is always at the mercy of weather and existing site conditions, but we do not disappear when the equipment leaves. If you have concerns about the workmanship on a recent project, contact us. We will review the site, explain what we are seeing, and discuss any adjustments that may be appropriate based on the original scope of work.

How Our Service Process Works

Step 1: Talk Through the Project

Every job starts with a conversation. You tell us what is going wrong, how you use the property, and what you would like to change. We ask questions, look at any photos you have, and when needed schedule a visit so we can see the ground in person.

Step 2: Walk the Site and Plan the Work

On site, we walk the area with you, point out problem spots, and talk through options. We explain what we recommend, why we recommend it, and how it will be done so you understand the plan before any equipment moves.

Step 3: Do the Grading and Site Work

On delivery day, we bring the material with trucks sized for your property and access. We place piles where you can easily reach them with equipment or wheelbarrows, or where we will be grading if we are handling the spreading.

Step 4: Review the Results Together

After delivery, we are available to answer questions about how to spread, compact, or maintain the material. If you decide you would like help with grading or additional work after seeing it on site, we can talk about next steps and schedule follow-up services.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Any time digging is involved, underground utilities should be located and marked before we begin. We’ll discuss this when scheduling and make sure the proper steps are taken so the work is done safely.

We can drill a range of hole diameters and depths to fit common post sizes. When we talk about your project, we’ll confirm post dimensions and recommend an appropriate hole size so you get a good fit and enough room for concrete or backfill.

Our primary service is drilling the holes, but in some situations we may be able to assist with setting posts if arranged ahead of time. If you prefer to set posts yourself, we’ll leave the holes ready so you can move ahead at your own pace.
