Our Story & Background
Cournaya’s Land Enhancement was established in 2019 by Tustin Cournaya and his father. What started as a way to help local homeowners with grading, driveway work, and small land projects has grown into a dedicated land enhancement company serving properties across the region. Being family owned and operated means the people you talk to are the same people who show up with the equipment and see your project through.
Based in Brown City, we are licensed and insured, a certified DBE and SBE, and minority owned as a Native American–owned business. Our mission is simple: handle the heavy and difficult work on your property—grading, driveways, drainage, and material delivery—so you can focus on the projects and improvements you are comfortable doing yourself. We believe in honest communication, straightforward recommendations, and work that respects both your time and your land.
Where We Work
Cournaya’s Land Enhancement provides services across much of Michigan’s Thumb and surrounding areas. We regularly work throughout Tuscola, Sanilac, Lapeer, and St. Clair counties and in many of the communities in and around those counties.

Our Workmanship Warranty
Outdoor work is always at the mercy of weather and existing site conditions, but we do not disappear when the equipment leaves. If you have concerns about the workmanship on a recent project, contact us. We will review the site, explain what we are seeing, and discuss any adjustments that may be appropriate based on the original scope of work.
